San Nicola Dog Rescue - Mission Statement
San Nicola Dog Rescue is a volunteer-based dog rescue organization.
We rescue dogs from Colorado and surrounding states
and get them adopted into permanent homes in Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Longmont, Loveland, Fort Collins and other cities of CO.
Our work is focused on these activities:
- rescuing strays and the dogs from the high-kill shelters
- rehabilitating dogs with behavioral problems, fear or hostility towards people
- providing food and shelter for hard to place rescue dogs until a well-matched home can be found
- providing necessary medical care and spaying/neutering
- re-homing as many rescue dogs as possible in Denver, Colrado Springs and other areas
- cooperating with the other rescue organizations on providing foster care, temporary housing for the rescue dogs
in transit,
help with adoption events, etc.
